A lesson combining a brief work-interview update, a Swiss friendship survey and conditional practice: Que feriez-vous par amitié ?
Dan discussed a recent work interview and possible new contract, then continued the friendship theme with Nathalie. The main lesson focused on a Swiss survey about friendship: age groups, regional differences, how people meet friends, what friends discuss, and what influences friendships. The lesson then moved into a conditional discussion activity: Que feriez-vous par amitié ? Dan practised giving opinions with je le ferais, je ne le ferais jamais, à condition que + subjonctif, and moral scenarios such as lending money, hosting a friend, helping with a report, donating a kidney and hiding an affair.
